Jake's Custom Woodworking & Design is a one man shop located in the scenic mountains above Santa Cruz, California - a wonderful community inundated with artists and artisans of every medium. It's truly inspiring to live amongst such a creative and supportive lot.
My designs are generally of a contemporary/eclectic nature although period or traditional pieces are always welcome. Using a variety of figured and exotic, as well as domestic hardwoods, I work closely with my clients to achieve a balance of the design's function with it's aesthetic value. All pieces are "one of a kind." No limited edition or duplications are ever produced.
